One day excursion out of Mazatlan


The day tour will take you through the estuary and man made rocky headlands of Marina Mazatlan and out into the Sea of Cortez…itself a remarkable engine of vibrant, geological and evolutionary processes…and on by sail to Deer Island, one of three lying just off Mazatlan. Your experience can include the sandy beach lands, exposed, rocky, shores and the uplands and cliffs of the island. You will have a chance to observe many different types of birds, plants, sea invertebrates and butterflies, all offering excellent opportunities for photography and a accompanying narrative.
